Training Approach
Training at Nayera Farm is approached with an emphasis on structure, clarity, and calm progression. Horses are developed through thoughtful, consistent work that supports correct foundations and long-term soundness, rather than rushed outcomes.
The training environment is intentionally managed to reduce pressure and distraction, allowing horses to settle into their work and develop confidence, balance, and understanding over time.
How Training Works
Assessment & Placement
All horses begin with an enquiry and assessment to ensure the training environment and program are the right fit. This process allows training to be tailored to the horse’s current stage and goals.
Program-Based Training
Training is delivered through structured programs rather than casual sessions. This provides consistency for the horse and clarity for the owner, while allowing progress to be managed thoughtfully over time.
Ongoing Review
Training plans are reviewed as the horse develops. Adjustments are made based on the horse’s response, soundness, and readiness, ensuring training decisions remain appropriate and in the horse’s best interest.
Training Options
Foundation Reset (4 Weeks)

A short-term training program designed to establish or re-establish correct basics. Suited to horses returning to work, needing consolidation, or where a focused reset is beneficial before further training.
Foundation Training (8 Weeks)
​
A structured program focused on developing correct foundations, balance, and understanding. Suitable for horses early in their education or requiring systematic development before moving into more advanced work.
Development Training (12 Weeks)
​
Designed for horses progressing in their training and performance pathway. This program builds strength, consistency, and confidence while supporting long-term soundness and clarity in the horse’s work.
Performance Preparation — Flexible Length
​
A tailored program for horses preparing for competition, sale, or higher-level performance goals. Training is managed with attention to detail, readiness, and appropriate progression, with the timeframe confirmed based on your goals and schedule.
Additional Services
Show Grooming & Competition Support
Show grooming and competition support may be offered where appropriate, including attendance at competitions as a groom when capacity allows. This service is provided selectively and is dependent on scheduling and existing commitments.
Agistment

Limited agistment may be available for horses that align with the training environment and standards of the farm. Availability is managed carefully to ensure consistency of care and suitability for all horses on the property.
Facility Hire
​
Arena and facility hire may be available by arrangement. Use of facilities is subject to suitability, scheduling, and the overall operation of the farm.
